Job Description:
• Responsible for sample collection, microbiological testing, and chemical
batching for a bottled water manufacturer.
• Analyze samples to ensure it meets customer specification “ flavor and other
quality attributes.
• Ensure that all parameters of the quality manual are being adhered to and
maintained on production floor.
• Document results from quality checks to different pieces of equipment (filler,
labeler, packer).
• Report to supervisor any quality issues with production to ensure immediate
correction in order to ensure that quality goals are met.
• Calibrate lab and line equipment for proper and accurate result achievement.
• Follow GMP policies.
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
Must be able to work in wet and humid environment. Must have ability to work
well under pressure in fast paced work environment.

Responsible for sample collection, microbiological testing, and chemical

mineral batches according to company standards and to meet production demand.
Laboratory duties include microbiological testing of finished product and
environmental monitoring.
Sanitize all containers and equipment as needed.
Stock and rotate chemicals and raw materials.
Complete daily paperwork and report results to QA Manager.
Perform daily audits of plant sanitation and machine operation functions and
report results.
Hire, coach, and discipline employees; communicate job expectations; appraise
job performance, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
